2021 Great Mind Awards
Since 2006, the Great Mind Awards have honored and celebrate leaders across the advertising and marketing research industry. These awards shine a light on rising stars, research innovators, data-driven marketers and industry legends — a group not usually honored in the way they deserve.
Nominations are now open until April 14.
The ARF will be awarding honors in five categories:
Erwin Ephron Demystification Award
A tribute to a pioneer and legendary influencer in media planning Erwin Ephron, winners of this esteemed award showcase the highest level of good sense, sound judgment about the business and communication ability.
Chief Marketing Officer Award
Rewards a CMO who has embraced research, insights, and data analytics to drive growth, brand value, and/or better consumer experience.
Future Forward Award
For achievement in using innovation to unlock insights about consumer or business trends.
Young Pro of the Year Award
In recognition of an outstanding ARF Young Pro who has shown exceptional leadership, important contributions and potential for future industry impact.
Journal of Advertising Research Awards
In recognition of the best Journal of Advertising Research (JAR) papers of 2020 — both academic and practitioner — and editorial board members who made excellent contributions to the quality of peer-reviewed papers.
More details about the categories and criteria can be found on the categories page.
SAVE THE DATE
The virtual award celebration will take place on August 12, 2021, 1:00PM EST.
The 2020 program, Conversations with Great Minds, celebrated two impressive award-winners through the sharing of their journeys, successes and insights on the state of the industry:
Josh Chasin, Chief Measurability Officer at VideoAmp and winner of the 2020 Erwin Ephron Demystification Award, was interviewed by the 2019 winner of the same award, Leslie Wood, Ph.D., Chief Research Officer at NCSolutions.
