Ipsos is the world's third largest market research company. This position sits within 1 of 18 different departments, the Creative Excellence group, which uses consumer feedback to assist clients at all phases of creative development, from early insight generation to measuring impact in market.

About the role:

The primary role will be to assist in a variety of projects to prepare broad learning and thought leadership on the topic of advertising, brands, and communication. The primary source for this will be Ipsos survey data but will also include many different external sources. Specific tasks could include:

  • Linking different datasets from within Ipsos and externally to validate the results from our predictive metrics .
  • Analyzing industry data, such as famous Advertising Award winners and entrants, to see patterns that lead to success.
  • Identifying and and coding creative styles (e.g. humorous ads vs. dramatic ads vs. including a celebrity) across large numbers of commercials, with the end result being to study how differences can impact overall performance.
