Cognition Council Roundtable: Your Brain on AI – A Conversation with three Authors about their Recent Books on Consumers’ Relationship to AI
Most consumers have had positive experiences with AI, yet many remain resistant to it. Join us on November 19 as the ARF Cognition Council explores how AI shapes consumer thinking, behavior and decision-making, and how organizations can adapt their marketing and communications to meet consumer expectations.
The authors of two new books about these topics, Smarter Together: How We Think, Feel and Decide with AI and AI for Marketing: The Consumer Perspective, will share research and practical guidance on consumer psychology, AI acceptance, and trust.
Attendees will learn how to:
- Understand how consumers think, feel, and make decisions with AI.
- Measure consumer trust in AI.
- Identify eight types of AI consumers.
- Understand how culture influences receptivity to AI across societies.
- Apply frameworks for AI-consumer relationships and human-centered AI marketing.
- Use consumer psychology and human needs to guide the development of AI-powered marketing.
A moderated discussion will explore practical applications and recommendations, followed by audience questions and discussion with the authors.
