How has being an ARF YP member impacted your career?

Being a member of the ARF Young Pros has positively impacted my career in a number of ways. Interacting with other young pros at our events has taught me a lot about our industry and all of the different roles within it. As someone who is naturally shy & introverted, the events have also given me a lot of opportunities to practice speaking up and sharing my ideas in a group setting. Joining the YP advisory board has also given me chances to take on more of a leadership role at my current company, by organizing trips to ARF events & acting as an ambassador for the Young Pros.

What’s your favorite event you have been to?
My favorite event was the Young Pros bootcamp. It was a great opportunity to meet other young professionals from all different parts of the marketing research industry, and learn from a talented group of presenters & workshop leaders. As a new advisory board member, it was also really interesting to learn about all of the behind-the-scenes planning that goes into putting on an event like this, and how many people are involved in making sure everything runs smoothly!
