What is your role / current company?
Manager, Measurement/Vevo

If you could offer one piece of advice to other young professionals, what would it be?
If I could offer one piece of advice to other young professionals, it would be to listen. One of the most valuable actions we can take at this stage of our career is soaking up knowledge like a sponge. Those who have been in the workforce longer have so much wisdom to share, so one of the best ways to learn new skills is simply through listening.
What has been your proudest professional achievement to date?
For nearly a year, I operated the Research & Insights team at Warner Music Experience as a one-person team. I handled all the audience insights for every incoming RFP and ad-hoc request, in addition to delivering measurement results for every campaign. Stepping up as the leader and expert in this area, I found confidence not only in collaborating with each sales director and marketer, but also advocating for myself as the sole representative of the research team.
How has being an ARF Young Pro member impacted your career?
I’m so excited to join ARF Young Pros! It will impact my career in so many ways, but I’m most looking forward to connecting with other professionals who are early on in their professions. From trading best practices to sharing new ideas, we’ll be able to relate in ways that may not always naturally occur across one company.
Can you name a company or brand that you think is doing an excellent job and why?
13 Management, Taylor Swift’s privately-owned management company, is doing an excellent job in every category. She and her team have established the most loyal fanbase that will engage with her at every touchpoint, from concert tickets to merch drops to streams and views. Furthermore, Taylor Swift appears to affirm those who work for her by showing appreciation monetarily and emotionally.
What is something you recently saw on the internet that made you smile? It can be work-related or otherwise (PG-13).
Seeing all the articles and videos from runners and supporters for the New York City marathon made me feel hope in unity. Especially since I was at the marathon supporting a friend, I found that every testimony and vlog moved me emotionally. Each unique runner overcame so many challenges and obstacles to achieve such a lofty goal, and it made me smile every time I witnessed a runner or someone cheering them on.
How has mentorship played a role in your career journey?
My career journey would not exist without mentorship. Across every role and company, internal and external colleagues have generously poured into me. I’ve been a part of official mentorship programs, but I’ve also found immense value in connecting with colleagues informally. Candid advice and feedback from managers and other coworkers have most helped me navigate my career journey.
What is your dream job? If money were no object, what would you do?
My dream job has always been to work in the music industry, which I feel so lucky to have gotten to do across my entire career. Recently, I’ve fallen in love with travel, and I’ve been curious about the intersection of music and travel. While I’m not sure if my dream job currently exists today, I am optimistic I’ll be able to create a hybrid of the two worlds in the future at my own company.
