Reny Diaz is VP of Audience Strategy & Content Development at NBCUniversal Telemundo Enterprises. Appointed to the role in March 2019, he focuses on articulating a unified audience growth strategy and developing content to deliver on that vision across the company’s platforms. Reny reports to the EVP of Omnichannel Content and serves as a member of the Telemundo leadership team responsible for growing audiences, Telemundo’s brand & revenue across all platforms. Prior to this role, Reny oversaw consumer research for Telemundo Enterprises. Under his leadership, Telemundo partnered with other NBCU brands on innovative multicultural symphony (synergy) marketing campaigns and launched an audience segmentation & consumer testing framework leveraged throughout Telemundo Enterprises. Reny came to the company in 2015 after serving as Head of Research for Fusion, ABC News & Univision’s English-language joint venture. He began his career at Nielsen, supporting the advancement of Nielsen’s Latinx thought leadership.

Storm Smith is the first Deaf woman to have been recruited by BBDO Worldwide. She continues in roles of creative director for collaborative projects, motivational speakers on larger scale events, and a thought leader for inclusive change in the creative and advertising industry. Her storytelling work immediately helped shine a positive light on critical societal issues such as people with disabilities, gender equality and people of color. Collaborations have included Ford Foundation for representation in the media, working with Academy Award winner Marlee Matlin, Tony Award nominee & actress Lauren Ridloff for the Deaf non-profit organization and Harlem Globetrotter Crissa Jackson on behalf of her advocacy for young girls in sports. Advocacy at heart, she appointed to serve on global media brand publication Ad Age Advisory Diversity Council and an appointed advisor for Crip Camp x Adobe for talents of color with disabilities. Storm’s tireless efforts to promote diversity, inclusion and accessibility have earned her a special recognition from President Barack Obama for the 30th anniversary on ADA (Americans with Disabilities Act), ADCOLOR Unsung Community Hero award, and a prestigious award from the City of Los Angeles. Adriana is a research junkie with a flair for finding the story behind the statistics, teasing the meaning out of the measurement, and revealing the faces behind the facts. A seasoned quantitative and qualitative market researcher with expertise on consumers and their attitudes towards their media tools, Adriana has moderated hundreds of groups and conducted in-home ethnographic research on a bevy of topics. Adriana oversees all of Horowitz’s millennial, multicultural and Latino research endeavors and is well-known for her leadership in this space.
