Alice K. Sylvester, Partner at Sequent Partners, is the winner of the 2021 Erwin Ephron Demystification Award.

The Erwin Ephron Demystification Award pays tribute to the father of ‘recency,’ Erwin Ephron, a pioneer and legendary influencer in media planning. For decades, Alice has demystified complex research issues for fellow researchers, marketers and the general public. She brings her personal sense of style, design and humor to even the most technically befuddling subjects.

Alvaro Luque, President & CEO of Avocados from Mexico (AFM) is the winner of the Chief Marketing Officer Award.

The CMO award honors an industry professional who has embraced research, insights, and data analytics to drive growth, brand value, and better consumer experience. Alvaro has fundamentally changed produce marketing in the U.S. and his vision to advertise in the Super Bowl is one of many industry firsts that have positioned AFM as one of the most innovative produce companies in the world.
