A Guide to Getting Published in the Journal of Advertising Research: Helping Researchers Write Successful Articles, and a Salute to Best Paper and Best Reviewer
Editor-in-Chief Colin Campbell devotes most of his editorial to providing guidance for successfully submitting articles to the JAR. “We want authors to have every chance for success when submitting their work,” he writes. The “Guide to Getting Published” aligns well with the journal’s Best Paper and Best Reviewer winners and highlights excellent work in the June issue. Campbell’s tips for getting accepted include choosing the right topic, writing a literature review, developing research questions and hypotheses, and designing and conducting studies that advance both theory and practice. A final section, “Writing Up,” is a style primer on making the article “approachable” to both academics and industry practitioners. “We want the best research to be published and want to help you be the one to create it.”
