| Azariah Smith: University of California – Berkeley Bio:Azariah is a Sociology major, pursuing a minor in Data Science. She is gaining research experience through the university’s Social Science Research Pathways program, studying philanthropy’s impact on public policy. Previously, Azariah served as Director of Finance for The Natural Hair Collective, where she secured over $12,600 in funding and now holds the position of Vice President of Marketing. WIDE Impact:Passionate about supporting students from underserved communities, Azariah is a recipient of the Peter E. Haas Public Service Leaders Scholarship from the Haas School of Business, through which she is leading her own community service project Extracurricular:Her interests include mentorship, research, and creativity. |

| Joshua Ng Marketing Baruch College Bio:Joshua is studying Statistics and Quantitative Modeling in the Data Science track. He has been interested in how data is becoming increasingly important to making good business decisions inside and outside of research and analytics, particularly after the rise of ChatGPT in early 2023. This led him to complete a ten-week internship at SLR Capital Partners to transfer, extract, and analyze fund-level data to generate recommendations for the Portfolio Management team on how to improve the management of the various private credit funds the Firm runs. WIDE Impact:Extracurricular:In his free time, Josh enjoys walking his dog Sparky, visiting art museums and playing action-adventure video games. |
