When did you join the ARF Young Pros? 2020

What is your proudest professional accomplishment?
My proudest professional accomplishment was inserting myself in the sector of health and business. With my background in public health, the business and sales world was not one that came easily to me—so being able to form business relationships, learn sales processes, product design and development is not only one I learned, but thoroughly enjoy, as well.

What is your biggest professional challenge?
My biggest professional challenge has been speaking up and allowing my voice be heard—always knowing that I have something to contribute to my team, just as much as those that have more tenure than myself.

What’s your favorite Young Pros event that you’ve been to?
I have not been to any events yet, but excited to network and learn from others!

When researching a topic you know nothing about, how do you get started?
I am a HUGE proponent of surrounding yourself with those that are more well-versed than you—that way you are always learning and can keep contributing the knowledge to the next person. Always having an expert close by to explain foreign or new concepts can not only contribute knowledge but can also act or serve as a mentor if it is a topic that strike one’s passion.

What is your favorite show/program?
Parks & Recreation

What is your favorite restaurant in your city?
Atlanta is a HUGE food hub with lots of great restaurants! Bartaco is one of my favorite spots for a quick taco and margarita run

What’s your dream job? (If money was no object, what would you do?)
An artist— anything that involves paint, a canvas, and getting my hands dirty.
