If you could give one piece of advice to other Young Pros, what would it be?
My advice to other Young Pros would be to stay hungry for knowledge. Embrace opportunities like this program to keep ahead of the curve and become a great marketer by consistently absorbing valuable information for future success.

What is your greatest professional achievement?
My greatest professional achievement has been managing the Instagram and LinkedIn accounts of a client with over 13,000 followers on Instagram and over 50,000 followers on LinkedIn. During my tenure, I successfully increased their following while significantly enhancing their brand presence on social media platforms.

What is your biggest professional challenge?
In the world of consulting, my most professional challenge has been securing projects that enable me to fully immerse myself in brand strategy. Currently, I’m focused on mastering basic copywriting and publishing tasks, but I eagerly anticipate future opportunities to delve deeper into brand strategy and contribute more significantly in that area.

How has being an ARF Young Pro member impacted your career?
As a newcomer to the ARF Young Pros group, I’m just starting to explore the impact it can have on my career. However, I’m excited about the opportunity to connect with more people in the industry and expand my network with like-minded individuals who share similar interests. I look forward to learning from others’ experiences, exchanging ideas, and gaining valuable insights to further my career in advertising and marketing.

Do you have a favorite campaign or activation? What made it stand out to you?
One campaign activation that stands out to me is Airbnb’s recent commercial highlighting the benefits of using Airbnb for family vacations. The ad creatively compares the experience of staying in a hotel versus an Airbnb, focusing on the idea that in a hotel, parents often share the same bedtime as their kids, while with Airbnb, they have the freedom to have their own space. This resonated with me because it effectively conveyed how Airbnb offers a more personalized and enjoyable experience for families, showcasing the brand’s unique value proposition in a compelling and relatable way

What’s an example of a company/ brand that you think is doing a great job?
One company/brand I think is doing a great job is The Morning Brew. I first discovered their newsletter when I was in college, and I’ve been thoroughly impressed ever since. The Morning Brew provides such an engaging way for people to start their morning. They consistently secure the right partnerships, their newsletters are always on point, and they never miss a beat. It’s refreshing to see a brand that’s so finely tuned, engaging, and reliable in delivering valuable content to its audience.

What is one thing you have seen on the internet recently that made you smile? Work-related or otherwise. (PG-13!)
Recently on LinkedIn, I came across a guerrilla marketing campaign by Sprite that brought a giant soda machine shower to the beach. They invited people to stand under the “guzzle” to receive a refreshing cold shower. I found it incredibly creative and cool. It made me smile because it’s such an out-of-the-box idea brought to life, showcasing fun and creative thinking in marketing, which I always admire and enjoy seeing.

Has mentorship played a role in your career journey? Anyone you want to give a shoutout to? Include their name if you’re comfortable sharing!
Yes! I met Will Post through the Association of National Advertisers, and his guidance has been invaluable to my post-graduate career journey. With experience from his time at Facebook and now at a marketing company, he brings a wealth of insights, particularly from his agency background at Ogilvy. Will has been instrumental in helping me navigate the industry, holding regular one-on-one sessions and providing me with valuable resources to further my knowledge as a marketer.

What’s your dream job? (If money was no object, what would you do?)
My dream job would likely involve launching my own product, perhaps in the beauty industry. I have an entrepreneurial spirit and enjoy the creative process, so I would relish the opportunity to conceptualize innovative campaigns for this beauty product. Additionally, I’d love to activate various fun and creative out-of-home ads to promote the product, combining my passion for marketing with my love for creativity and entrepreneurship.
