What is your proudest professional accomplishment?

Some of my proudest professional accomplishments are because of my team. Being a manager is like another full-time job that involves balancing leadership goals and your own work – with your reports’ ambitions and expectations. From a former job, I’m proud to have been an advocate for someone on my team, who was always a hard worker with a great attitude, and securing an off-cycle promotion for them.

How has being an ARF member impacted your career?

Being a part of ARF YP has been such a great experience! I’ve made new friends and met peers that have provided advice about navigating my career. ARF YP also has introduced me to other areas as of research that I haven’t worked in, and keeps me updated on emerging trends and technologies.

What’s your favorite event that you’ve been to?

I’m a little biased, but I’m especially proud of helping create The Mentoring Loft. It’s been over a year since we’ve started, and I love that we’ve been able to help others help each other. Sometimes it’s empowering to hear from others like yourself take on similar challenges.

What is your favorite show/program?

Sherlock is brilliant or anything related to Inspector Lewis. I grew up watching Masterpiece Theater with my dad, so I’m always happy watching their shows.

What’s your dream job? If money was no object, what would you do?

Creating, researching and taste-testing new flavors of Lay’s potato chips is one of my dream jobs. I’ve got the taste testing part down so I’d say I’m ready.
