The ARF David Ogilvy Awards is the premier awards competition that honors research- and insights-driven advertising.

The awards pay tribute to the late David Ogilvy, known as the “father of advertising.” David championed the power of research and insights to drive successful strategic creativity. For over 30 years, these awards have been a testament to the transformative power of consumer research in driving brands and delivering ROI, which is more critical than ever.

2026 CALL FOR ENTRIES OPEN!

All applications are due May 22, 2026.

Applicants are eligible to win a Gold, Silver or Bronze award in over 20 categories, (including three new categories!) The Grand Ogilvy Award will be bestowed to the most outstanding eligible Gold winning campaign of this year’s applicants.

Member Rate: $995 per campaign  
Non-Member Rate: $1195 per campaign

  1. All campaigns must have aired or been active at any point during January 2023-March 2025.
  2. Both U.S. and international campaigns are eligible to enter.
  3. Only entries submitted through our online portal will be considered—we cannot accept entries via email.
  4. Above all, we are looking for insights that led to the success of specific advertising campaigns. If there is no specific advertising campaign affiliated with your entry, it is not eligible for an ARF David Ogilvy Award.

ELIGIBILITY

  1. All campaigns must have aired or been active at any point during January 2024-March 2026.
  2. U.S. and international campaigns are eligible to enter. Important Update: International campaigns are only eligible to enter in the International (For Profit) and International (Non-Profit) categories and are not eligible to win the Grand Ogilvy Award. U.S. campaigns are eligible for all categories except the two categories listed above.
  3. Only entries submitted through our online portal will be considered—we cannot accept entries via email.
  4. All applications must feature an advertising campaign with a clear and well-defined consumer insight, with measurable business results, while highlighting the effective use of research. The use of research is a key differentiator of the David Ogilvy Awards.

Follow these steps to enter your campaign:

  1. Login to your MyARF account (or create an account).
  2. Enter the number of campaigns you plan to submit.
  3. Submit payment.
  4. Access the portal.
  5. Complete the digital entry application, including:

    check Team Credits
    check Points of Contact
    check Application Agreement – Terms and Conditions

The application process for the 2024 Awards relies on a combination of structured and open-ended questions. All answers will be provided to the jury, which ensures consistency among the information collected about each campaign.

The Awards will be featured after the ARF’s Creative Effectiveness conference which includes a full day of content, closing with the Awards dinner and reception. This two-part event will take place on September 26, 10am-9pm at Tribeca Rooftop. Juries

The ARF hand selects top researchers, marketers, creatives and consumer insights experts to serve on the Category Jury and prestigious Grand Ogilvy Award Jury.

Scoring is completed in three main rounds — a preliminary round of scoring by the Category Jury to determine the Gold, Silver and Bronze winners, followed by two Grand Jury meetings to select the Grand Ogilvy Award Winner.
