As the Chief Talent Officer of the Hill Holliday Network, Karen Mawhinney is responsible for driving innovation in the employee experience across Hill Holliday, Hill Holliday Health, Hill Holliday Media and EP+Co. She leads an integrated team that connects the work of recruiting, onboarding, development, EDIB with organizational excellence to ensure the way we work, the environment we work in and the culture we live by all synchronize to support the individual employee’s performance.
She built her advertising career in Account Management, and brings that experience and perspective to her role to best tap the skills and talents of employees to work toward a common purpose and drive business results.
Steven Millman

Steven Millman is an award-winning researcher currently leading all research and operations initiatives across Dynata’s Advertising Solutions division, which provides activation and campaign measurement over the entire lifecycle of a campaign. In this role, Steven is also responsible for automation, innovation, and thought leadership. Prior to joining Dynata, Steven was Chief Scientist at Simmons Research (MRI-Simmons) leading measurement sciences and developing new products. Before Simmons Research, Steven served as Senior Vice President for Research at comScore, where he led the ad effectiveness line of business, along with all custom survey work, combining self-report with behavioral data. Throughout his career, Steven has maintained a focus on innovation, quantitative and statistical analysis, survey, research design and other applied research techniques.
Karen Morgan

Karen has been a leader in the talent field for over 20 years, specializing in placing marketing insights professionals across the US & globally. She started her recruitment career in Chicago at a leading search firm, where she played a key role, spearheading both their market research & brand marketing recruitment practices, working with leading corporations across the country. Karen later moved to Los Angeles to open the first West Coast office. She then launched her own recruitment firm, Morgan Search International, in June 2000.
Karen is very active in the research community, both on a national and local level. A member of Women In Research (WIRe), she was invited to become part of WIRexec, an exclusive group of female business owners & corporate executives. She is a regular speaker at conferences and is quoted as an industry expert in national publications such as The WSJ & The LA Times.
Morgan Search has built exceptional and lasting teams for many leading corporations as well as start-ups. Clients include Netflix, Microsoft, Starbucks, American Express and Coca Cola, as well as numerous research agencies. Karen has a passion for people and creative problem solving. She has dedicated most of her career to helping individuals with their professional growth, and helping companies build outstanding teams.
Evan Swidler

As IRI’s global Chief Human Resources Officer, Evan Swidler is committed to creating an exceptional employee experience that is personal and enables each of our colleagues to grow, find work with purpose, and deliver amazing outcomes. He leads our global human resources efforts, which includes all aspects of engaging our IRI colleagues, including talent engagement, organizational change efforts, recruiting, diversity and inclusion, and total rewards. Swidler has extensive global experience in nearly every aspect of the human resources function.
Before joining IRI, Swidler served as Chief Human Resources Officer for ATI Physical Therapy, a private equity held now public, outpatient orthopedic practice that focuses on high-quality rehabilitation services. In this role, he focused on attracting top talent, creating new opportunities for growth and development, building leadership pipelines, accelerating expansion of retail outlets into new and existing markets, and rewarding high performance.
Prior to ATI, Swidler spent five years at The Nielsen Company in various senior HR-focused roles, including Chief Human Resources Officer for North and South America, Europe, and the Pacific. Earlier in his career, Swidler spent 12+ years at Accenture in its Management Consulting practice, focused commercially on talent, process, and technology transformation in its consumer goods and retail practice.
Swidler holds both a bachelor’s degree in industrial psychology and a master’s degree in human resources and industrial relations from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. He resides with his wife and children in Chicago where his crew enjoys a variety of sports and experiencing different sites, sounds and foods from a variety of locations.
Paul Donato

Paul Donato joined the ARF as Chief Research Officer in October 2017. Paul is a highly-regarded leader in media and advertising research with more than two decades of industry experience. Earlier in his career he co-founded WPP’s Media Research Business Unit, served as CEO of Kantar Media, and Technical Director of IBOPE Latin America. He was the EVP and CRO for The Nielsen Company for more than a decade, overseeing Nielsen retail, consumer, mobile, and media measurement methodologies. Upon leaving Nielsen, Paul founded Jatopond, a media and market research firm. He also has led business units at Simmons, and at Audits and Surveys Worldwide. He currently sits on the Future State Committee of the National Air and Space Museum. In addition to leading the research team, Paul will also play an active role in overall ARF leadership, helping to guide our future direction.
