Dennis Buchheim has been driven for 20+ years by a mission to ensure digital content and services remain accessible and useful. He is a collaborative, product-oriented leader who has built and led teams to define, launch, and manage large-scale products/programs in advertising and beyond.
Dennis founded ThinkMedium to help ads and media clients navigate privacy, safety, and efficiency challenges and opportunities. Immediately prior, Dennis was a VP at Facebook/Meta, recruited to collaborate with the ads ecosystem on solutions for privacy and data, measurement, and trust and safety, with scope later expanded to include data science and program enablement teams for Meta’s business products.
Dennis joined Meta after serving as CEO of IAB Tech Lab, digital advertising’s primary technical standards body. He has also held ad tech product/business leadership roles at Yahoo and Microsoft, where his teams developed demand-side platforms, ad exchanges, targeting systems, identity solutions, audience insights tools, measurement and verification platforms, and more.
Before “finding advertising” in 2002, Dennis spent his career in engineering and product roles at Apple, Oracle, Actioneer, and iHarvest (which he co-founded), working on a range of enterprise and consumer software products. Dennis earned dual degrees from Brown University, in computer science and business economics, presaging his career developing technology products.
Paul Donato

Paul Donato joined the ARF as Chief Research Officer in October 2017. Paul is a highly-regarded leader in media and advertising research with more than two decades of industry experience. Earlier in his career he co-founded WPP’s Media Research Business Unit, served as CEO of Kantar Media, and Technical Director of IBOPE Latin America. He was the EVP and CRO for The Nielsen Company for more than a decade, overseeing Nielsen retail, consumer, mobile, and media measurement methodologies. Upon leaving Nielsen, Paul founded Jatopond, a media and market research firm. He also has led business units at Simmons, and at Audits and Surveys Worldwide. He currently sits on the Future State Committee of the National Air and Space Museum. In addition to leading the research team, Paul will also play an active role in overall ARF leadership, helping to guide our future direction.
Jessica Nguyen
Research Scientist
Meta
Jessica Nguyen is a Research Scientist at Meta where she conducts research on ads measurement, trust and safety, and social cause advertising. Jessica is the creator and author of siMMMulator, an open source R-code package that generates simulated data to validate Marketing Mix Models. She has a B.S. in Economics with concentrations in statistics and marketing from the University of Pennsylvania, Wharton.
