Mapping the Journey: From Data to Insights

The data deluge. Information overload. The industrial revolution of data. However you term it, data is abundant but insights – actionable, data-driven findings that create business value – are harder to come by.

Join The ARF’s Women in Analytics luncheon on May 3 at The Presidio Log Cabin in San Francisco. Industry leaders will share examples of how they are analyzing, visualizing and transforming data into actionable insights.

What were the pain points? What were guiding lights? Be inspired by these data to insights journeys.

Bin Yu, Chancellor’s Professor in the Department of Statistics and Electrical Engineering & Computer Sciences at UC Berkeley, will discuss the importance of being oneself and her holistic approach to analytics.

Caroline Wu, Senior Strategic Director at Kantar Added Value, will share how she harnesses the power of data to craft a roadmap to business value.

Tamara Greasby, Director of Data Science at Oracle Data Cloud, will talk about how communicating complex statistical results is just as vital as building them.
