How has being a ARF YP Member Impacted Your Career?
Becoming an ARF Young Professional has helped me connect with people in similar fields, offering a great way to network. Additionally, the events are always educational as most host a speaker to talk through a specific topic related to our field, offering members the opportunity to bring these insights back to their organizations.
What is your proudest professional accomplishment?
My proudest professional accomplishment has been co-leading a Statistics 101 training at Kantar, teaching how we stat test our results and how to explain that to our clients. In teaching this over the past 9 months, I have become a go-to team member for any statistics questions that come up within our ad-effectiveness research methodology.
What is your favorite event that you’ve been to?
My favorite event so far has been the Mentoring Loft. This event offered a safe space to communicate professional topics and issues with people who are at a similar level in their career. The discussion was great way to get a fresh perspective from people outside of your organization who may have faced the same issues.
What’s your dream job? (If money was no object, what would you do?)
While research is a true passion, if money was no object I would open up a small coffee shop in Burlington, Vermont. (I may ask my customers to take some customer satisfaction surveys along the way just keep things interesting!)
