Sarita leads Innovation and Growth Strategy for Bayer’s Consumer Health division in the U.S., to maximize Bayer’s pipeline of health solutions to address unmet consumer needs and win in the marketplace. For her first three years at Bayer, Sarita led OmniChannel Marketing, across retail media, shopper marketing and category management, giving shoppers a reason to choose Bayer brands.
Prior to Bayer, Sarita ran the Baby Care business of JOHNSON’S®, AVEENO® Baby, and DESITIN® brands at Johnson & Johnson (J&J) and oversaw the relaunch of all three brands. Sarita led Global Wound Care with a focus on strategy and innovation for BAND-AID® and COMPEED®. Sarita also developed global innovation and communications for LISTERINE®, the brand that drew her to J&J and her current home in New Jersey. Before J&J, Sarita spent eight years at General Mills where she worked on iconic brands such as PILLSBURY®, CHEERIOS®, and NATURE VALLEY®. Prior to brand marketing, Sarita grew in strategy roles at both Honeywell and J.P. Morgan.
When not at work, Sarita runs with the fun of her two teenage boys. She and her husband Steve met at The Darden School at the University of Virginia. Sarita is a strong advocate for Inclusion & Diversity and believes that “Born to Run” is the greatest rock & roll anthem of all time.
