Rajan spent more than two decades building TRC’s research and analytics capabilities before taking over the leadership role in early 2024. This was aided by his strong academic collaborations which included working as a Knowledge Partner for the Yale Center of Customer Insights, teaching marketing research for several years at Columbia Business School and organizing the decade-long TRC Client Conference Series that included academic and practitioner presenters. He has also actively contributed to research development by publishing in academic and practitioner journals as well as at several conferences. Since taking over as President he has focused on the development and integration of AI into the customer insights process with academic collaboration to ensure rigor and right use.
