Leah Wyar is the President of the Entertainment and Beauty & Style Groups at People Inc., overseeing major brands including PEOPLE, Entertainment Weekly, InStyle, Byrdie, and more. Wyar has more than 20 years of experience in print and digital media, where she’s driven significant audience and revenue growth. She has been recognized as one of Ad Age’s Leading Women and received Chief’s New Era of Leadership Award in 2024. In 2021, Wyar was named one of AdExchanger/Cynopsis’ Top Women in Media and honored at the She Runs It Changing the Game Awards. A veteran beauty expert, Wyar has appeared on Today, Good Morning America, and as a lead cast member on E!'s So Cosmo. She was also a judge on season two of Lifetime’s American Beauty Star. Prior to joining People Inc. in 2019, she was Chief Beauty Director at Hearst, where she oversaw content for 12 brands delivering beauty and wellness content to more than 20 million women monthly. Wyar additionally serves on the board of Fashion Group International.
