Isamar is an Assistant Professor of Business Administration in the Marketing Unit at Harvard Business School (HBS). She is affiliated with the Customer Intelligence Lab at the D^3 Institute, which helps companies use customer data to improve outcomes for themselves, their customers, and society at large.
Her research examines digital marketplaces, unstructured data, and applications of artificial intelligence methods for marketing insights. As a marketing modeler, she combines econometrics, machine learning, and causal inference with field and observational data. Her work has been published in Marketing Science and the International Journal of Research in Marketing, and she serves on the editorial review boards of Marketing Science and Production and Operations Management.
