Dave Kaplan - Executive Vice President, Content Analytics for Media Group, NBCUniversal

Dave Kaplan serves as Executive Vice President, Content Analytics, NBCUniversal Media Group. In this role, Kaplan oversees content performance, audience measurement strategy, and forecasting, and informs decision-making for NBCUniversal’s TV and streaming brands, including NBC, Bravo, Peacock and NBC Sports. During his 14-year tenure at the company, Kaplan has been instrumental across the business in identifying industry trends, generating audience and content insights, overseeing program testing and driving advertising research.
Prior to joining NBCUniversal, Kaplan spent nine years at Nielsen (originally with IAG Research, which was later acquired by Nielsen) where he contributed substantially to the development of the company’s core research products that measure the impact of advertising and branded content across TV, web and mobile, and to the understanding and use of program engagement metrics.
Kaplan holds a BA in Psychology from Cornell University’s College of Arts and Sciences, where he was named a member of Phi Beta Kappa.
