Jiawen Zheng Marketing Management Baruch College Bio:Jiawen Zheng, a junior student at Baruch College, is currently pursuing a major in Marketing Management and a minor in Japanese. Beyond academic endeavors, Jiawen’s role as a bank teller has provided a unique platform to engage with hundreds of customers, maintaining an impressive score of 9.9 out of 10 in personal customer evaluations. This experience honed interpersonal skills and emphasized the importance of a customer-centric approach to marketing. WIDE Impact:Participating in ARF WIDE granted Jiawen access to professionals from various fields, bridging the gap between academic knowledge and real-world marketing. The exposure to motivated peers at ARF WIDE has been particularly valuable, expanding Jiawen’s professional network. Insights gained from the program offered a glimpse into the complexities of marketing in a real-world setting, inspiring a future entry into the professional world. Extracurricular:In addition to academics, Jiawen dedicated a year to studying Thai outside of class, showcasing a fascination with linguistics and a passion for exploring different languages and cultures. Eager to connect with people from diverse backgrounds, she envisions applying marketing expertise to showcase the beauty of every corner of the world while experiencing a myriad of cultures and landscapes in the future. |
