Bio:

Hali Jama was born in Somaliland and raised in Eden Prairie, Minnesota. She is currently studying Marketing and International Business at the University of Wisconsin–Madison on a full scholarship through the Business Emerging Leaders (BEL) program. Hali is involved on campus, serving on the executive boards of three organizations, including The Vault: Business Behind Fashion and the Somali Student Association, which she helped establish. She founded Success Sessions, a mentorship program that has aided over 60 students with resumes and LinkedIn.

WIDE Impact:

In just a few weeks with ARF WIDE, she has received tremendous support for her job search and professional development. She was just hired with NIQ as a research analyst and will begin after graduating.

Extracurricular:

Hali also models for ONE Management in Chicago and Barcelona, and she interned at UW-Madison’s WIDA and OMAI, working on causes that matter to her.
