Forrester predicts that US digital ad spend will surpass TV by 2016, reaching $103 billion in 2019. Mobile will contribute 66% of digital ad spend growth over the next five years, hitting $46 billion in 2019. While there will be some cannibalization of TV budgets, “the bigger contributing factor will be an influx of new money dedicated to digital because marketers are able to prove that digital works.”
