Neela Sakaria serves as SVP, Consumer Insights - Audience Strategy, NBCUniversal Media Group. In this role, Sakaria oversees research and insights to inform audience engagement, content and marketing strategy, partnerships, and subscriber growth for NBCUniversal’s TV and streaming brands including Peacock, NBC, Bravo, and NBC Sports.
Prior to joining NBCU, Sakaria spent 7 years at Netflix - most recently as Head of Content & Audience Insights. In that role, she led a global team that combined research, analytics, and storytelling to scale content insights, guiding Netflix's rapid growth in series, movies, and kids content.
In her career of more than two decades, Sakaria held previous leadership roles at History Channel, TiVo, and Latitude Research. Her early career included roles at American Public Television, MTV Networks, and Discovery.
She holds an MBA from NYU Stern, and a B.A. from Wellesley College.
