Travis Flood is the Executive Director of Insights at Comcast Advertising, the advertising unit of Comcast Cable. In this role, Travis analyzes data to better understand the role marketing and advertising plays in business success and utilizes these insights for both advertisers and the industry as a whole. For instance, Travis was a key player in the launch of a new industry initiative: The FreeWheel Viewer Experience Lab. As Head of Research, Travis leads a cross-functional team to take a data-first approach to better understand today’s viewer experience and ultimately inform how Comcast Advertising can bring innovation to the marketplace. With a broad range of experience in data analytics, research, marketing, training and information technology, Travis has dedicated his almost 20-year-long career at Comcast to building more efficient and clear processes to understanding data. Travis received a Bachelor of Arts in economics and business from the University of Pittsburgh as well as a Master of Business Administration and Master of Science, Information Systems from Penn State Harrisburg. He currently resides in Pennsylvania.
