Kyle Poppie is a VP, Data Science at Nielsen. In his current role he leads research across national and local measurement, focusing on audience estimation approaches for big data + panel methodologies. Prior to this, Kyle was head of data science at Claritas, leading advanced customer segmentation, modeling capabilities, and primary research methodologies. Kyle enjoys working at the intersection of probability and non-probability sampling methods, creating solutions that identify and mitigate behavioral biases inherent in non-probability mechanisms. Kyle holds a masters degree in Sociology from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee.
