James Alexander is an innovative media measurement & insights leader. He has more than 25 years experience on the advertiser, agency, and publisher sides of the business. James previously worked for NBCU, Warner Bros Discovery, CNN, and Microsoft where he helpfed create and measure effective campaigns and transformative content strategy. Prior to VIZIO James was VP of Analytics at ITN Networks and Kroenke Sports.
James has an ARF “Great Minds” award for innovation and an Ogilvy award for a separate project both while at Microsoft where he was responsible for brand campaign goals and optimization. Among his media innovations, James created the first continuous news ticker on television while with CNN. He has graduate level Certificate of Advance Study (C.A.S.) in Data Science from the Syracuse School of Informaiton Studies. He also has an MBA in Strategic Marketing & Statistics from the Eli Broad Graduate School of Management, and a BA in Media & Information from Michigan State University.
