Caleb Briggs, 21, is co-author of the highly anticipated book The AI Conundrum, slated for release in August 2024. This groundbreaking collaboration with his father, Rex Briggs, demystifies Artificial Intelligence (AI) in a manner accessible to business professionals, policymakers, and students.

From a young age, Caleb demonstrated an unparalleled aptitude for mathematics and AI coding. His coding journey started at the age of 10, and by 14, he was delving into the world of AI development, self-teaching Lisp — the pioneering AI programming language developed at MIT in the 1950s. Caleb's exceptional mathematical abilities paved the way for advanced studies at Harvey Mudd College and Stanford University, all while crafting AI programs and writing the key chapters of The AI Conundrum during his high school years. His experiences have solidified his belief that AI safety represents one of the industry's most pressing issues. Caleb is currently pursuing a major in mathematics and computer science at Reed College, with an expected graduation date of May 2025.
