As Vice President, Content and Sports Sales for VideoAmp, Melva Goffney Benoit is responsible for leading Content and Sports strategy. Melva is highly regarded for being both intellectually curious and realistically pragmatic; cultivating and maintaining key stakeholder relationships; identifying talent, empowering teams; and driving a high-performance culture.
Melva has held senior executive research positions in television broadcast and cable networks and digital. She has led initiatives that delivered strategic direction in content creation, product strategy, marketing and advertising for major media, entertainment, and consumer brands including Disney, Comedy Central, Cartoon Network, NBC, FOX and Nickelodeon.
Melva was included in the 2007 class of Broadcasting and Cable's Women to Watch. In 2012, she received the Next Generation Market Research Innovation Award in Thought Leadership for her work in Social Media Measurement.
Melva currently is Executive Professor, Digital, Media and Innovation at Pepperdine University’s Graziadio School of Business and Management in Malibu, California.
Melva resides in the Los Angeles area with her two daughters and a Dalmatian.
