Is the founder of Sundogs, who are using data and AI in service of creative excellence. He spent the last 10 years at Google looking at the billion-and-a-half hours a day of watchtime on YouTube to identify patterns in culture and storytelling to drive outsized performance for brands. His team generated the creative guidance that underlies all Google products and service offerings, and worked with major global brands like Apple, Disney, HBO and LVMH.
Prior to that, he was a creative director at ad agencies including Hill Holliday and Digitals, working on clients like Holiday Inn, Major League Baseball, SAP and many others, including providing the voice of the Aflac Duck in social media. He's also been a venture capitalist, a Dean of Admissions, a high school teacher, and the author of the highly regarded novel The Rope Eater, published by Doubleday. His new novel, Abide with Hunger, is forthcoming, well, when it is.
