Katheryn R. Christy (krchristy@wisc.edu) is an Assistant Professor in the School of Journalism and Mass Communication at the University of Wisconsin–Madison. Her research focuses on the intersections between persuasive message design and new and emerging media, often within the context of health.
Ranran Z. Mi (rmi@kean.edu) is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Communication, Media and Journalism at Kean University in Hillside, NJ. Her research emphasis is health communication, primarily focusing on psychological processes and behavioral intervention.
Ran Tao (rtao27@wisc.edu) is a doctoral candidate at the School of Journalism and Mass Communication, University of Wisconsin–Madison. Her research focuses on how the interplay between emotion and cognition influences the effects of persuasive messages.
Linqi Lu (llu84@wisc.edu) is a doctoral student in the School of Journalism and Mass Communication at the University of Wisconsin–Madison. Her research revolves around message strategies and media effects in the context of health and social justice, and she is particularly interested in the process of evidence-based communication in the digital information environment.
