The Advertising Research Foundation Announces Re:Think 2014: Aims to "Inspire Intelligent Growth" Throughout Three Day Event

March 24, 2014

NEW YORK, NY, Mar 24, 2014 -- The Advertising Research Foundation (ARF) today announced the final lineup for its annual Re:Think event, taking place March 23-26 at the New York Marriott Marquis. Re:Think is the premier gathering of marketing leaders -- brand marketers, media/technology companies, research organizations, academics and analysts. Speakers will include Soledad O'Brien, CEO Starfish Media Group; Keith Reinhard, Chairman, DDB; and Carolyn Everson, VP, Global Market Solutions, Facebook Inc.

"Re:Think is more than the traditional conference -- it's a conversation around leading edge insights that tap an emotional connection with consumers in today's increasingly fragmented media landscape," said Gayle Fuguitt, CEO and President of the ARF. "The studies showcased provide newly unveiled insights and allow for researchers to be the voice of the consumer at the decision-making table."

The event will feature groundbreaking consumer insights selected by a judging panel from 168 paper submissions coming from the top companies in the business. The papers address the hottest issues facing our industry today including cross-platform measurement, big data, mobile and social solutions in the face of a consumer centric dynamic media landscape, innovative strategies that drive sales, and breaking ARF results measuring emotion via neuroscience. Also highlighted will be success skills for insight and analytics leaders to represent the voice of the consumer at the decision table. Additionally, a new ARF-sponsored Digital Field Guide will be unveiled throughout the week.

Each day will have a different emphasis, with March 24 focused on rethinking consumer engagement, March 25 on rethinking ideas, and March 26 on rethinking skills. On March 25, the ARF will host the David Ogilvy Awards Dinner, where the award winners will be revealed. On March 26, the ARF will announce the Great Mind Awards winners as part of the conference luncheon. A full agenda can be found here.
