FUTURE FORWARD AWARD

For particular achievement in trending topics of the day..

The 2017 award is focused on virtual reality and recognizes the person or team who incorporated one or more new and innovative techniques, and/or implemented learnings that advance the application and effectiveness of this trending topic.

Criteria:

  • TECHNIQUE: Describe the innovative technique or learnings the nominee(s) practiced to advance VR.
  • RESEARCH INSIGHT: What insight in the VR did the nominee bring to life?
  • EFFECTIVENESS/BUSINESS IMPACT: What did the nominee’s understanding and implementation of the VR do for their organization or the industry as a whole?

INNOVATION AWARD

For the development of the most innovative research methods in the industry’s most relevant and constantly evolving topics.

The ARF recognizes the importance of research methods and techniques that are ever-evolving and progressing. This award goes to the individual or team who has created and proven the impact of innovative methods in cross-platform, better creative/neuroscience, and research quality by utilizing inventiveness, implanting analytics, and/or harnessing new technology.

One award will be given per research initiative (three total).

Criteria:

  • TECHNIQUE: Describe the innovative technique or learnings the nominee(s) practiced to advance cross-platform, better creative/neuroscience, and research quality.
  • RESEARCH INSIGHT: What insight in cross-platform, better creative/neuroscience, or research quality did the nominee bring to life?
  • EFFECTIVENESS/BUSINESS IMPACT: What did the nominee’s understanding and implementation of cross-platform, better creative/neuroscience, or research quality do for their organization or the industry as a whole?

YOUNG PRO OF THE YEAR AWARD

In recognition of an outstanding ARF Young Pro who has shown exceptional leadership and important contributions that suggests future potential to “make their mark” on the industry.

This award recognizes those who stand out, the in beginning of their careers, due to their contributions, teamwork, and leadership.

Criteria:

  • CONTRIBUTIONS: Describe the nominee’s contributions to the ARF Young Pros and/or to the industry as a whole. Be sure to highlight any noteworthy achievements.
  • RESULTS: Describe the results of the nominee’s contributions to the ARF Young Pros and/or the industry.
  • POTENTIAL: Describe the qualities that suggest the nominee’s future potential to “make their mark” on the ARF organization and/or industry as a whole.

LIFETIME ACHIEVEMENT AWARD

For an individual who has made lifetime contributions to the industry and The ARF.

This award honors an individual who has made significant impact and fundamental contributions to the research industry. These contributions have had lasting impact on the industry and have demonstrated a lifetime commitment to advancing the art and science of market research.

Criteria:

  • CONTRIBUTIONS TO THE ARF: Describe the nominee’s contributions to the ARF. What makes these contributions particularly significant?
  • CONTRIBUTIONS/IMPACT ON THE INDUSTRY: Describe the nominee’s contribution to the industry itself. What makes these contributions particularly significant?
  • INSPIRATION TO OTHERS: Describe how the nominee inspired others in the field.

MEMBERSHIP AMBASSADOR OF THE YEAR AWARD*

In recognition of one ARF Member Ambassador who has shown significant interest and activity with The ARF in collaboration with their company.

An ARF Member Ambassador has a responsibility to act as an ARF representative, encouraging active membership and relaying important member communications to his/her company. This award honors one exceptional Membership Ambassador, chosen from 400+ companies that make up The ARF’s membership group.


JOURNAL OF ADVERTISING RESEARCH AWARDS*

In recognition of the best JAR papers published in 2015 – academic + practitioner. Also in recognition of editorial board members who made excellent contributions to the quality of peer-reviewed papers.

These articles scored the highest number of votes from the Journal’s esteemed Senior Advisory Board and Editorial Review Board members. JAR’s Best Reviewer Award goes to the editorial board who made an excellent addition to the quality of peer-reviewed papers by providing in-depth, constructive reviews in a consistently timely manner.


ARF BOARD OF DIRECTORS AWARD*

In recognition of an outstanding ARF board member who has gone above and beyond the call of duty in service to The ARF.

This peer-nominated award celebrates an ARF Board Member who has demonstrated true commitment to the mission of The ARF while making significant impact in the industry.
