FUTURE FORWARD AWARD

For particular achievement in trending topics of the day – the future of advertising, ad blocking, and/or mobile.

The 2016 Award is focused on learnings in the future of advertising, ad blocking or mobile and recognizes the person or team who incorporated one or more new and innovative techniques, and/or implemented learnings that advance the application and effectiveness of the future of advertising, ad blocking, or mobile.

Criteria:

  • TECHNIQUE: Describe the innovative technique or learnings the nominee practiced to advance the future of advertising, ad blocking, or mobile.
  • RESEARCH INSIGHT: What insight in the future of advertising, ad blocking, or mobile did the nominee bring to life?
  • EFFECTIVENESS/BUSINESS IMPACT: What did the nominee’s understanding and implementation of the future of advertising, ad blocking, or mobile do for their organization or the industry as a whole?

ANALYTICS LEADERSHIP AWARD

In recognition of the most innovative and powerful work in marketing analytics. This award honors an individual who has shown innovation in next-gen analytics to generate significant business results.

Criteria:

  • TECHNIQUE: Describe the innovative technique or learnings the nominee practiced to advance analytics for business growth.
  • RESEARCH INSIGHT: What insight in analytics did the nominee bring to life?
  • EFFECTIVENESS/BUSINESS IMPACT: What did the nominee’s understanding and implementation of analytics do for their organization or the industry as a whole?

MEMBERSHIP “GAME CHANGER” LEADERSHIP AWARD

In recognition of an ARF Member who acts as change agent to lead their department or organization to new heights. A leader who finds the gaps, creates opportunities and inspires us all to raise the status quo.

Criteria:

  • ARF MEMBER STATUS: Must be an ARF member to qualify.
  • LEADERSHIP SKILLS: What makes this ARF member a leader in their organization? How their leadership advanced the organization or the industry as a whole?
  • INSPIRATION TO OTHERS: How has the nominee inspired others? How has this affected their organization?

YOUNG PRO “MAKE YOUR MARK” AWARD

In recognition of an outstanding ARF Young Professional who has gone above and beyond the call of duty in service to The ARF and/or the industry. This award recognizes those who have stood out in the beginning of their careers by their contributions and young leadership.

Criteria:

  • ARF YOUNG PRO STATUS: Must be an ARF Young Professional, age 30 and under.
  • CONTRIBUTIONS: Describe the nominee’s contributions to the ARF Young Pros and/or to the industry as a whole.  Be sure to highlight any noteworthy achievements.
  • RESULTS: Describe the results of the nominee’s contributions to the ARF Young Pros and/or the industry.
  • POTENTIAL:  Describe the qualities that suggest the nominee’s future potential to “make their mark” on the ARF organization and/or industry as a whole.

PRESIDENT’S AWARD

For exemplary service to The ARF, supporting The ARF Board, Member Community, and Member Ambassadors. The ARF exists to serve the industry and does so based on the hard work and commitment from industry leaders who all have “day jobs.” This award goes to the individual who rises above the daily fire drills and finds a way to contribute in a lasting way to The ARF, their member company, and therefore, to the industry.

Criteria:

  • CONTRIBUTIONS TO THE ARF: Describe the nominee’s contributions to the ARF. What makes these contributions particularly significant?
  • CONTRIBUTIONS/IMPACT ON THE INDUSTRY: Describe the nominee’s contribution to the industry itself. What makes these contributions particularly significant.
  • INSPIRATION TO OTHERS: Describe how the nominee inspired others in the field.

LIFETIME ACHIEVEMENT AWARD

For those who have made lifetime contributions to the industry and The ARF. This award honors an individual who has made significant and fundamental contributions to the research industry. These contributions have had a lasting impact on the industry and have demonstrated a lifetime commitment to advancing the art and science of market research.

Criteria:

  • CONTRIBUTIONS TO THE ARF: Describe the nominee’s contributions to the ARF. What makes these contributions particularly significant?
  • CONTRIBUTIONS/IMPACT ON THE INDUSTRY: Describe the nominee’s contribution to the industry itself. What makes these contributions particularly significant.
  • INSPIRATION TO OTHERS: Describe how the nominee inspired others in the field.

JOURNAL OF ADVERTISING RESEARCH AWARDS*

In recognition of the best JAR papers published in 2015 – academic + practitioner. Also in recognition of editorial board members who made excellent contributions to the quality of peer-reviewed papers.

These articles scored the highest number of votes from the Journal’s esteemed Senior Advisory Board and Editorial Review Board members. JAR’s Best Reviewer Award goes to the editorial board who made an excellent addition to the quality of peer-reviewed papers by providing in-depth, constructive reviews in a consistently timely manner.

BOARD OF DIRECTOR LIFETIME ACHIEVEMENT AWARD*

In recognition of an outstanding ARF Board of Directors member who has gone above and beyond the call of duty in service to The ARF.
